WHO CARES IF WE FAIL features my impromptu performance as a fearless “Drag Queen Teacher” in my art class. In this unique scenario, each of my students reveals a sense of self-conscious awkwardness as I make physical contact with them while uttering, “Who cares if we fail?” before taking the brownie. This experimental video attempts to signify empowerment and acceptance as I embody the dual role of both teacher and artist, pushing my students beyond their comfort zones.
